So at the moment, when I'm sending files to the pc, they open up in notepad looking a bit like this:
0 Erasers can cost as little as í10. Wiping a Datapak involves
8 taking apart the pak or peeling back the paper label and
16 leaving the exposse chip under a UV light for five to ten
24 minutes. With that done, you're paks will be ready for
28 reuse.

This was something I wrote years ago for my blog. I think back then, I used a hard break removal tool and cut out the numbers manually. Is there anyway I can get the Psion2 to send documents without the hard breaks? I tried using the Transmit feature in autoscribe, but it reported an error, like there was a file/program missing from my pak. So i'm using the transmit function within the Comm's menu.

Re: Sending Autoscribe files to PC - Hardbreaks
A couple of ideas to try: make sure the Comms Link is booted (with COMMS in main menu) before trying the autoscribe Transmit, that might explain the missing software error. Also, you could try Print in Autoscribe instead of Transmit and capture the document using a Terminal Emulator on the PC. This would allow to convert characters (such as the pound sign) using Autoscribe or Terminal settings. Notepad++ on PC is also useful for search and replace.
