Just a little aside, it took me half an hour to tell the bank that it wasn’t a scam. I know they were only trying to look after my interests, but eventually I said, if it is a scam I accept responsibility. Beside that I only have 30p in my current account

Do the printers use thermal paper? Like the old Alphacom printers?

I believe they do use normal thermal paper. They don't use the electrostatic metallised paper if that's your concern.I bought a branded printer a few years ago and managed to buy some rolls of wide paper to fit, as well, that is still available.

What width do the printers use? The paper I have is just thermal paper, the sort you see in till machines. I managed to get a large box of them years ago to use with my Alphacome32 printer which was hooked in to my ZX Spectrum.

According to Jaap, the paper is up to 110mm wide.

Hahaha! Holy cow that's awesome, I have like about 10 rolls of 110mm thermal paper, it's exactly the same as the Alphacom32. I don't really use the printer on the Spectrum an awful lot. Hmm dilemma, A.DO I really need a printer for my Psion2? B. Can I slip it past the wife and avoid harsh words/mortal danger/loss of limbs C. Get away with pretending I've always had one (What new thing in the house? Nah I've always had one of these *lies*)

Might be interested in one of the printers Now that i know they use the same thermal paper as my Alphacom32, will give me something to use them on. I rarely have a printer hooked in to my Spectrum these days.thesourcerer wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2024 4:15 pm Received, and in the process of converting the printers to 2 x 9 volt rechargeable batteries in parallel. Excellent seller, fast delivery, and as described. If anyone is wanting any of the items just message me! I will be putting them up on eBay as individual items. I will be getting the Rampacks converted to replaceable batteries.
Great lot, great seller!

The RAM packs are modified.
It's the largest number of ram packs I've ever been in the presence of.

Have you created a 'How to' video or created a guide on how to modify the ram packs? I have two that I would like to modify.
Thanks
