Hi everyone,
Quick intro on me. I’ve recently picked up a ‘Lot’ from eBay including CM’s, XP’s and an LZ. I already have a Psion 3, 3a and 5MX. Like many, I had the venerable ZX Spectrum (16k in those days) and learnt BASIC on it. But life stepped in and I need to re-learn. I’ve a real soft spot for these early computers and want to learn as much as I reasonably can about them. I got him hooked on Andrew ‘Menadue’s’ YouTube channel and whilst I doubt I’ll ever be able to learn enough to replicate some of his projects, pushing the Organiser 2 envelope is really appealing. So that’s why I’m here. To learn as much as I can. Great to be aboard.

Hi Steve!
Welcome to the forum. Its a great place to get info. on the Psion Org2, and there are many people on here with amazing knowledge about the machine, both from a software and hardware perspective.
I'm just a casual user of the Psion Org2, but its still one of my favourite computers, and I've had a fair few in my time. Something so appealing about its instant on, programmable ready, no nonsense OS that I love.
Hope to hear about your Psion experiences in the future!
All the best,
Paul

Hi Steve,
be sure to check out the Questions And Answers section. Martin has posted some excellent materials. The sticky topic at the top is a great start. (and this)
If you don't have one, you might find you want a COMMS link pretty soon, keep an eye out at the usual shopping channels.
A shameless plug, it you want to get into the rabbit hole of batteries...here..
(Unless you stay tethered to the mains, your'e going to start wondering)

Hi from Lancashire
Hi Steve
Just so you know thesourcerer, a long standing member of the forum, runs the eBay store lepowerfulpierre. If you are looking to purchase items for the Organiser then perhaps PM him to ask his advice and see what he has in stock.
Sincerely and in good faith
